The Wright Method · Coach Archie

A student's first rep down the ramp: 39 mph at the bottom. Too slow. The merge got tight, fast.

One correction. One rep.

Second rep: 55 mph at the bottom. Clean merge. No drama.

Here's the lesson most parents never hear: the goal isn't to get to 50 mph as you merge. It's to already be there.

Don't get ready to be ready. By the time you reach the bottom of the ramp, you should already be at 50 mph — not trying to get there as you merge.

That's the Snapshot Point. Miss it, and every merge after it is playing catch-up.
